While America Slept

Back in the high-flyin' 90s when the President of the United States was enjoying some camacho triple maduro cigars with an intern a couple of passenger planes were lost. TWA 800 and Swiss Air Flight 111. And Americans and others died. Why, people asked? "Accident."

But the stories don't go away. Again, why? Because Americans died. And people DON'T forget. Truth will out.

Two stories this week are quite revealing, both from the Clinton 90s and those 2 lost passenger planes. John Kerry's 9/11 Offensive and Swissair Crash may not have been an accident: ex-RCMP.

Both of these incidents were followed by claims of responsibility by terrorist groups. At least one of these incidents had dozens of witnesses to the moments BEFORE the loss of the plane in which a missile attack was described. Unimpeachable witnesses, I might add.

Both of these incidents were whitewashed and explained away with "extensive determinations" revealing them to be nothing more than unfortunate, terrible accidents. America accepted that story. It was so much more palatable than going to war. And so we slept.

But, as they say Truth Will Out.

Who knew that John Kerry would be the government official to blow the whistle that TWA 800 wasn't an accident?

Why, John Kerry. Because his 3 admissions on video, on television that linked TWA 800 to terrorism were not an accident either.

Interesting how they both have that big O as the centerpiece of their logo. The other "they" being Obama, of course.

I don't know about you but I can't WAIT for this scandal to blow wide open. It's been awhile since we had a good sink-your-teeth-in scandal coming out of Washington, DC. Anthony Weiner doesn't count. Or Spitzer. Or Barney Frank. Or Kennedy... hmm.

Moving on.

How many billions of taxpayer money was laundered by Obama and his administration for a what has amounted to a color?

Music to my ears

Being a mom is always an adventure. Especially when some of your adventurers are 3 little girls. When you're wishing your family had skipped breakfast in bed, and bought you some disposable car floor mats instead while you're trying to dissolve taffy off of the upholstery of your car, the one thing you always come back to is how much FUN you have had with them.

How many times have you cried and screamed and yelled and whined (even if it was only in your head) to end up laughing so hard you cried again at the memory of that moment one mere week later?

That is something your kids can do to you like no one else. So when our 9 yr old L brought home a musical instrument that was nearly as big as her, I wondered where she got the idea she could go ahead with volunteering her dad and me to drive her back and forth to school on no regular schedule other than "day 4".

You see, she then cheerfully told us her bus driver wouldn't allow her to take the bus on band practice days because of her instrument.

What a pariah, my hilarious lovely child that the school tells me again and again is just so HAPPY.

Mao Mourning Jackboot

I suspect, somewhere in Washington DC, someone really wanted to fly their flags half-staff today. Not because of the upcoming memorials for the 10th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks. But because September 9th is the 35th anniversary of Chairman Mao's death in 1976.

Sure I'm cynical. But the past few years have shown me that Obama and his ilk are about as interested in protecting and strengthening America as they are to be hawking the best safe diet pills on Spike TV in the middle of the night.

Or maybe the mourners were more public in Hollywood, where they not only use those pills but hawk them and proudly sport Mao-marked accessories as well:

Some friends of ours in San Diego informed us their power was out, to the entire city. We informed them from looking into the news that the power was out all the way from San Diego to Baja Mexico past Tijuana and across into New Mexico.

That this massively unprecedented power outage occurred on the same day as the FBI's acknowledgment of a terror threat aimed at our country's observance of September 11th is a coincidence. That's what they keep telling us.

Pay no mind to the man on the San Diego Gas & Electric company's twitter who used the account like a POS system to acknowledge that yes, the lines were CUT, there was an incident of some kind in Arizona that caused it, if you have a family emergency plan maybe you should activate it NOW, and no, it wasn't related to THAT terror threat.

Update: The power has been restored to 1.4 million SDGE customers. Not sure about everyone else in the southwest. SDGE's continued communications earned them 13000 additional followers in a mere 12 hours. And the fascinating part of it, is you see just how many people DO use their cell phones to communicate past voice calling.

Or not, depending on their political tendencies.

Mostly because the more I share with them, they either stop being so liberal or they stop talking to me. Right now, it's at 80/20. Which side, you ask? I can't even quote from the article. There are too many jaw-dropping entries demonstrating yet again that Barack Obama is a political creation, one made out of whole cloth. Or perhaps we should describe it as holey cloth, seeing how many ways we've been able to poke through and find out that truly, he is without substance.
