Constitution Day: A day that I wish everyone could honor by reading even a portion of the work itself. A day that should be honored and celebrated the same way, if not more so, than Independence Day.
Because the day our Founding Fathers ratified our Constitution was the birth of our great nation.
If you do nothing else today, read the preamble:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
