Until I find the recipe again that was lost in a mountain of other Christmas recipes promptly when it was completed, enjoy this classic scene!



Usually around this time I'm up to my elbows in flour and sugar mixing and baking an assortment of cookie delicacies to send to my family & friends. This year however I just had a hard time getting the time, energy and money together to make it happen. I was able to throw together a batch of bourbon balls though.. they'll be ready by the New Year. Yes, Grandma, sorry, I know I was supposed to try the brandy balls this time but I goofed when I went to pour the liquor and grabbed the bottle of bourbon out of habit. I'll try again next year!

Of course I won't be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor... not in my current condition. Come March 7th or thereabouts, all bets are off! Best thing about bourbon balls or rum balls or even brandy balls.. they last like, forever!
